We are losing a big senior class that carried many starters in it, but I can tell you one thing Harmony will be ready to play. We are the 3rd smallest team in 3ADI but Quitman is the smallest. I see this district being fairly even from top to bottom. Mineola and Jefferson should have more athletes pound for pound, but our guys will fight from the opening kickoff til the final whistle. Good gosh can football season hurry up and get here.

If you received one of the major accolades like an MVP award, that trumps everything. It makes that person an automatic 1st team selection. If Smith wasn't voted as CO-MVP then he would have been listed as 1st team, or even DEF. MVP. I hope that I explained it good enough,

The school is called Gladewater Sabine, just as Harmony is called Big Sandy Harmony.

I could see the district being Harmony, Quitman, White Oak, Sabine, Mineola, and Winnsboro. That would put Mt. Vernon and Jefferson in with Daingerfield, New Boston, Prariland, and Redwater.

That makes too much sense for the UIL to just split these 12 teams into 6 team districts. District 8 REG 2 Jefferson, New Boston, Redwater, Daingerfield, Prairiland, Mt. Vernon District 9 REG 3 Winnsboro, Quitman, Harmony, Mineola, White Oak, Sabine

Plus Rains is a common opponent. Harmony 20-13 over Rains and Rains over Sabine 38-12.

Tend to disagree there eagle34.. Will not be as big a drop off as people might think. JV has gotten alot of playing time and with an off season or 2 the freshman and sophs, along with some big 8th graders will keep the RED EAGLES in contention

7th grade beat Rains 40-20 and lost to Winona 36-28 8th grade beat West Rusk pretty good, beat Rains 16-8, and lost to Winona

Harmony 7th is 1-1 8th is 2-1 JV 3-2
