I would venture to say that 80% of the boys in High School play football at Harmony, very few don’t. Our enrollment is right at 300.

We have usually had a lot of guys playing football, but we have had a run of a few classes that have more guys than girls and they all play. Our Jr High teams will be normal size,number wise this year. We have smaller classes in the JR High.

We only have 2 JV teams, no freshman teams. We divide the JV's up as equal as possible. Those teams are the freshman, sophs, and jr's that are not on Varsity. The reason that EF didn't have a JV last week had to do with injuries in their JV and Varsity games the week before. They are low on numbers and decided to play the Varsity game and move the JV up for depth.

I can confirm it, that it was EF that cancelled the JV game because they no longer have one.

EF doesn’t have a JV. Harmony had to find a replacement game for one of their JVs.

Deweyville has never been 4a. They may have gotten to 3a d1 but with all of the floods and hurricanes over the past few years they are more than likely to stay in the 2a ranks from here on out.

Harmony is scrimmaging Hughes Springs Thursday at Harmony.

Waskom isn’t on the schedule this year. Non-district is ND, EF, and WR. The Waskom games the last 2 years were fun because it was 2 smash mouth teams gettin after it.

I wouldn’t say no college prospects. We have 2 OL that are juniors that could play at the next level. Our 2 starting inside LB’s could definitely play at the FCS level. Our RB could play in college for sure. He ran for right at 2000 yards and in 3 games had 5 carries or less, plus didn’t play much in the 2nd half of a lot of our games.

Harmony returns 7 on Offense and 8 on defense. On defense we replace a Safety, corner, and LB. On O we replace 2 OL, QB, and a wingback.

Wrong Buck, enrollment is actually 298 to 300.

I know Harmony will be right at 100 on day 1. We will play 2 JV’s and carry about 45 on Varsity.

I think it’s funny how the subdivision in the middle of Overton is considered Arp school district.

What teams are in the tournament?

Harmony advances.. winning the series 2-0 over Prairiland. Last night final 5-0, final today 11-3. Today Harmony had 3 hr’s with Spencer Seahorn and Gage Goddard going back to back in the 1st and Goddard hit a Grand Slam in the bottom of the 6th.

An 8th grader can play on Varsity if he is over the age limit for Jr High. The problem is that he burns a year of eligibility and when he is a senior he can’t play any sport. This isn’t college to where you can redshirt a year to keep a year of eligibility.

Does anyone know of anyone selling a pole vault pit? I am in need of one just for 1 season.
