  1. Thanks for the info guys. As much as the UIL doesn't make sense, your explanations help.
  2. +1 And the half time show was hilarious. Don't worry 3j, I embarrassed myself at the pep rally: Gandham Style. Lol
  3. Couldn't agree with you more Bucknut. I was at a loss last year when UIL announced dist alignment. I could only assume they put us in 16 because of our playoff run last year. I'm not sure if that's a consideration they use, so correct me if I'm wrong. The UIL should do a better job of putting smaller schools together and keeping bigger schools together to even the playing field. It's tough for us to play against schools like Kilgore, who's HS student enrollment is roughly 900 and we are around 600. I dont want to sound like a whiner so i'll just say it is what it is. I appreciate your nice comments Buck, you have a lot to be proud of in that Buckeye team.
  4. Got to hand it to Gilmer, a very talented team. Congrats on the win. Man, you guys have some FAST kids on your team. Give them a slot a a few yards and they exploit the hell out of it. I have to give mad props to our Panthers though. They are often outsized physically, but our kids are gonna give you a run for your money and play their butts off. I would like to think that the teams we've played and lost to knew they had to earn it because we're not gonna give anything away. Thank you Coach Wilson for a superb job of coaching these young men. Compliments from the other teams and fans tell us that this program is definitely on the right track and hopefully we are in the playoffs again soon. Keep up the good work Bullard! We've got one more game to win! Gilmer, Henderson, and Kilgore, I wish you the best of luck!
  5. Looks like Romo is up to the same old tactic of throwing the ball to the other team. Good grief he's worthless.
  6. I agree. But I think Henderson will find it difficult to get much air time on Kilgore. They cover very well. Meeks will have some adjusting to do, no doubt.
  7. Maybe you misunderstood what I said or didn't bother reading it. If Kilgore is on Monsta's back all night, Henderson suffers big time and that's for either a rushing or passing game. I'll just assume Henderson stuck with the ground game against Bullard because it obviously worked. There was practically no passing at.
  8. Bullard. All if the concerns about Gilmer refs can be taken out of the equation.
  9. Kilgore's defensive strategy should be fairly easy: stop Monsta. Swarm him and I don't think Henderson has anything to fall back on. Kilgore should be up to the task IMO. Kilgore wins by 10.
  10. Henderson has a very talented team and Monsta was no joke. Very hard to bring that guy down. Congrats Lions on the win. Panthers play hard. No need to hang your heads guys.
  11. No doubt Troup has already faced and defeated thier 2 toughest opponents: Jefferson and Tatum. I hope the Troup kids keep thier heads in the game and not take any upcoming games lightly (I don't think they will), they will walk on WO.
  12. This thread has definately made a left turn.
