  1. If you don't have the ability to spread it out with a sound air attack against Malakoff, then you might as well go home. In case you haven't noticed from the bloody and battered they've left behind, running the ball is futile. Tigers 31 Eagles 21
  2. If Malakoff QB is 100%...Tigers. If Malakoff QB is not 100%...Cardinals.
  3. Yeah, most of the games have been tight. I know there's been at least 3 overtime games. Correction: Scurry-Rosser is 5-3.
  4. After last night, Edgewood takes the lead in district, but the top 4 spots shouldn't be set until it's all over. Edgewood 7-1 Mineola 6-2 Kemp 5-3 Alba-Golden 5-3 Scurry-Rosser 4-4 Quitman 3-5 Eustace 1-7 Grand Saline 0-8
  5. 2nd round of district starts tonight.
  6. I'm a pee wee coach who took the 1997 pre-school team to the super bowl. Thinking about tossing into the hat. Quitman is building one heck of a new band hall.
  7. Every dog has it's day?...except for Quitman of course.
  8. East Texas Small: The Tomato Bowl, Roughneck Stadium, Meredith Memorial Stadium Large: Bryce Homer, Tyler Rose Stadium, Wildcat Stadium. Get all the info you need here... http://www.texasbob.com/stadium/region_index.php?region=6
  9. Didn't realize that moved the standings around. Still, I wouldn't count out the Raiders in either matchup.
  10. Winnsboro needs to play well and get out healthy because a potential White Oak without their starting QB is a whole new ball game.
  11. 1. Edgewood 2. Harmony 3. Lone Oak 4. Winona 5. Como-Pickton 6. Alba-Golden
  12. What magazines and polls were you looking at because I thought I saw Quitman at the bottom of most? I mean, GS split the district championship last year, so nobody I know thought they would be at the bottom.
  13. Well, if GS was in their old district, then they would be in the playoffs, but the Indians won't be able to stop Farmersville to make that happen. It's a shame your senior stud QB won't get that chance.
  14. Quitman never had to punt to GS but had 3 turnovers. If the Bulldogs can take care of the ball and run the clock, then Commerce will have some work to do. As a team, Quitman is averaging over 4 yards per carry, but they can't afford to turn it over. Someone has to win this one, and I'm believing the Bulldogs can make it happen.
