  1. He's not transferring. Briles staff has been gone. The only one that is currently there is Kaz.
  2. Your response had zero relevance to my statement.
  3. First off, I am a woman and have a daughter but I never understood how if a drunk man has sex w a drunk woman, it's rape BC she can't consent BC she's drunk but the drunk man should have the mental faculties to make the distinction. I get it in theory but in reality it makes no sense. I said drunk, not passed out. This is off topic and in no way has anything to do w the Baylor situation.
  4. You're exactly right. No argument about that BUT inflating the numbers makes it appear that MOST players either participated or had knowledge of such acts and this is simply not true. I do take this personal because many of the CURRENT players who had NOTHING to do with this (nor were their names even whispered) are getting death threats... Seriously. They are getting death threats BEFORE the latest allegations so I can only imagine now. As a parent, this is unsettling at the very least.
  5. Defending him? I didn't mention anyone. I simply asked if anyone really believed these numbers. First let me say that sexual assault of any kind is a serious, life altering crime that will stay with the victim for the rest of their life. Nobody takes that lightly. Do I think isolated incidents happened involving Baylor players over the past several years? Unfortunately, yes. I say isolated because I will never believe that it was the culture. I know too many players and their families that are of high character. Do I think that something happened to "Elizabeth Doe," the woman who filed this suit? Unfortunately, yes. That being said, as per the police report, no charges were filed because she couldn't put together what happened herself because she was so intoxicated. I am not saying this to bash her. She is still a victim. Just stating the facts. The point is a woman who admittedly doesn't know what exactly happened to her is able to name 20+ incidents/rapes/players more than anyone else can? The Pepper Hamilton report, ESPN, the feeding frenzy that was upon Baylor for about a year couldn't uncover this but she could? What happened to her is tragic but inflating these numbers to get a bigger settlement does a disservice to herself and all real victims of assault (whether at Baylor or not). She also made new accusations concerning the Baylor Bruins. Nobody else has made these accusations. These are young, intelligent women of integrity who are now in a position of having to defend "their honor," Do you really believe that for the past seven years that part of the job of being a Baylor Bruin was to meet the sexual needs of recruits and not ONE young woman spoke out about this??
  6. Does anybody REALLY believe these numbers?
  7. Getting on the field ASAP is the appeal with Baylor. With Ish & KD entering the draft, we only have 2 semi experienced receivers. We are also low on RBs and we need help on both sides of the line.... Translation=opportunity to play immediately. We'll be better than a lot of people expect next year and will be very good in 2018.
  8. I take it to mean that the father and grandfather are members of the school board. Just my uninformed conclusion
  9. True but let's not pretend that the game between Gilmer/Tatum and the game between Gilmer/GW are even comparable.
  10. Let me first state that I'm a woman so I may be considered overly "sensitive," and I do realize that as a parent of a football player I have to have a thick skin BUT... I hate sitting by people who probably rode the bench in high school talk bad about players. By bad, I DO NOT mean the typical "Why'd you throw that?" "Pay attention," "Get your head in the game," type comments/statements. I mean the "Get that mother #%*%} off the field." Yes. That was yelled in all its unfiltered glory from directly behind me aimed at my son. Do not call kids profane names. Btw, his arm was broken in a game against Tatum a few games later and then we moved for his senior season and he didn't step back on the field. How'd that work out for you? Yes. I'm still bitter 2 years later. Lol. But in all seriousness, please be careful about what you say about people's kids !
  11. If Coach Briles didn't have that "horrible history." He wouldn't be on the market...
  12. Guess you haven't read the latest or are you just ignoring it
  13. You're right. There still will be. Some people can't let go no matter the evidence but the hiring school can do it in good conscience.
  14. No link to the new news stories??? Lol It's sad either was for Baylor. We lost the man who loved Baylor and built the program. He will get hired quickly by a school now without any backlash. The same schools that screamed for his blood.
  15. Hilarious. They can't even name a true champion but they want to be investigators. Lol OU: where's report on Joe Mixon( broke coed's face) sat out a year, played2015.... President Os school will NOT RELEASE the video!! Frank Shannon sat out a year for a sexual assault charge.... Played in 2015.... Dorial Green-Beckham was allowed to transfer in when Missouri kicked him out for multiple physical assault charges by his "girlfriend"(Bob stated he wanted to give him a second chance!!) Texas: release information on sexual assault by Case McCoy, Jordan Hicks, Kendall Sanders,Montrell Meandor at the Alamo Bowl.... McCoy played the next year!!! Kansas: Washington Post ran an article recently about the football player who sexually assaulted multiple coed's.... Coed's brought suit because KU never responded to their complaints!!!! http://www.kansascity.com/sports/college/big-12/university-of-kansas/article72674422.html
