  1. Greezy, You are correct, I did think Bremond would beat Tenaha. I was wrong. I also thought Falls City would beat you. I was wrong again. However, I can copy some posts of yours that while you backed your Tigers 100% (as you should) you thought they wouldn't make it this far either. In fact, you said, that it was all gravy from here on out after you beat Bremond. You were just happy to be here. Tenaha has an awesome program, and their sportsmanship is awesome too. I take nothing away from Tenaha at all. And, I commend you for giving them the support that you do. In the end, this is football. And while it is important to these kids and us parents or supporters, I think we all hope that their lives will be full of more great things to come. I applaud you for being a staunch supporter of the Tigers. I haven't had any connections to the Moguls since 2007, sometimes I wish I did but I don't . I can post some crazy stuff sometimes, I will admit that. I don't blame you for calling me out on that. Cheers my friend. It's all in good fun. Wishing the best for all of the amazing kids of this great state.
  2. Greezy, I love ya man and I respect ya because you honor these kids and athletes, but I gotta tell ya that's alot of smack talk for someone who said it was all gravy from here after the Bremond game. You didn't think you would make it past that. Tenaha has a great tradition and good people, but so do the Moguls. Don't go beatin too much because they may end up with the bragging rights this year. My Burton boys will be back and looking for skin in the next few years. We eatin all the sausage we can out here in German country to get bigger and stronger. Just be cool and remember that day in and day out most of these fans support these kids no matter what school they come from. Glad we can play the game. Pylot.
  3. I think you're right. All it takes is a little over confidence and the wrong mistake and your bouncing basketballs a few weeks too early. But, If I may, can I give a shout out to all of the men and ladies who make friday night happen? Bless you all, from the players to the coaches to the band, cheerleaders, fans, moms and dads, thank you all. Lift each other up, congratulate one another and be proud that we can freely play the game in this America.
  4. I agree. They are fast. And unlike alot of 1A teams they have multiple players who are outstanding. Even if one of them is out for injury it is going to be tough to beat them. However, the games must be played and there can always be that team that has your number.
  5. That would be good too. I didn't see the game but Tenaha was well above the Moguls in that game. Munday was mostly sophs and juniors last year. They are a different team and let's face the facts the RD is at Tech. He was alot of Tenaha football. A rematch would be a good game but Munday comes out on top this year. Maybe by more than Tenaha did last year.
  6. Last Munday Mogul state championship was 2007. They beat Bremond by just a few. Would be good to see a rematch in the Big Stands.
  7. or....Tenaha, or Bremond, or Burton.. I originally thought Burton but I think that is a long shot now that Bremond ruined them in an earlier game this year. I'm from Brenham so I was pulling for Burton. Maybe Munday doesn't get past Wellington or Springlake/Earth this year. However, Munday beat Stamford in a close one and Stamford is ranked #1 in Div I. Who knows, but Munday looks tough to beat. My bet is that the Moguls place another trophy in the case this year.
  8. Teneha put it to the moguls last year, no doubt. However, the moguls win without a fight this year. Not that I'm pulling for them but they are bringing back almost everyone from last years state playoff game. These guys could be playing 3A and they would be there. They might not win that game but they would be there.
  9. Thank you for the reply and I understand. I hope you do go statewide. Pylot
  10. Smoaky, Personally I believe you are led by your love for east Texas. There are many great teams out west in 1A. I believe you will see Munday in the final game in Div. II and Stamford in Div I. Never rule out Albany or Wellingtion either. I believe all four of those should be in the top 10 Class 1A.
