I agree. Those schools in that conference should recruit the East Texas area more. Ouachita, Henderson St, Harding, Southern Arkansas, Arkansas Monticello, Arkansas Tech all have a few kids from East Texas on their roster.

I have not seen ETBU play but if they transition to D2, they need to shoot for the GAC. There are only about 4 teams out of the 11 that really put a strong emphasis on football and recruiting. They all play, but only 4 are legit, in my opinion. Ouachita Baptist, Harding, Henderson St, and Southern Arkansas are the only 4 in my opinion that seem to really mirror what D1 schools do in recruiting. ETBU may be able to hang with the other 7 schools and may catch the top 4. Harding is playing for the D2 National Championship Saturday. I believe they have a few East Texas kids and a few East Texas commits.

They should call Calvary Baptist in Shreveport, LA. They would travel to play. They have trouble finding teams that want to play them. Would be a good game.

EF has played better at home. They have not played well on the road. This game is in Hughes Springs. I have not seen HS play, but they have a realistic shot.

Thanks for answering the question of who you are for so I know what game you are referring to. Like I mentioned before, every school has a player or players that do what you are whining about. High school kids are undisciplined, period. Doesn't matter if it is a sport, school work, chores, or just life, high school kids are undisciplined at times. It's not just EF or Daingerfield (since ETF mentioned them), it is every high school team. The same has happened to EF and their players. They have been punched, hit out of bounds, hit after the whistle. So like I said, get out of here with this crap.
