Hate to say it, but I suspect that 10-3A will be airing the basketballs up after this weekend.

Actually, I'm pretty sure EVERY prognosticator had NL, Paris, and Van Alstyne in the top three. They just had them in different orders.

I think at this point it is a foregone conclusion that the three playoff teams are Paris, North Lamar, and Van Alstyne. As for playoff implications, the only thing will be which of Paris and Van Alstyne is the higher seed and which is the lower seed. Passing game or running game?

Who wins? I know almost nothing about Van Alstyne other than they are one of the three best teams in the district. Anybody have any insight?

Do any of you guys know how bad AJ is hurt? He scored the first three TDs and then he never came back in. That's when things went downhill for us.

While there is definately an argument for North Lamar backfield containing either Broderick Franklin or Antowoine Smith, the duo of Shannon Bostic and Roy Allen in 1997 has to be in strong contention. Both backs went over 1,000 yards each that year. Shannon had a huge amount of potential at the next level, but never made it there to find out.

While it would be great, AJ isn't going to be able to put on 20 lbs of muscle over the summer.

Makes me happy. All we can do is play the team on the schedule.
