Can't see how you think that SS wants it more than Hallsville. Hallsville has been playing some pretty good football lately. Not sure about offensive and defensive comparisons but Hallsville has a great kicker and really good special teams. Looking for a great game. Go Bobcats!

Nac ran a nice one last week against hallsville on 4th down that worked well. As nac was lining up for the punt they had a lot of players running on and off the field as usually happens with special teams. However, one nac player stopped short of the out of bounds line with his back to the field. The ball was snapped and he took off down field and caught the pass for the first down. Wasn't enough to win though.

I saw Eddie Murphy's "Raw" concert live when I was a student at UT-Austin. I actually worked security as a part time job at the Erwin Center. One thing that I remember about that concert were the huge number of "back-stage passes" that were handed out before and during the concert to "select" people. He had his handlers walking through the crowd picking people out. I was the wrong gender to get one.

I just read where Chris Jones, a WR from Daingerfield, has decided to transfer from UT to seek his fortunes elsewhere. Any idea of where he might land?

I believe that Hallsville is at full strength this week and certainly has a lot to play for. The boys are playing with some confidence now and short of giving up some untimely big plays on defense have performed really well. Hopefully the defensive forced turnovers will continue and Hallsville will have short field to play with. The short passing game has worked well as has the Red Zone running of late. Hopefully we can control the pace of the game with the run and short passing. Mistake free ball and the game will be won by Hallsville. The edge coming with exceptional special teams play. Go Bobcats!

What happened to the long-time KLTV anchorman/reporter Clint Yeats? They have mentioned several times concerning Anissa Centers absence but apparently Clint is gone. Did I miss something? I always enjoyed him.

What about the median scores? Hallsville gave up a ton to JT which would skew the average. I am sure some other teams are similar.

Crazy game. Shades of a Tomato Bowl finish. Hallsville needs to quit giving up the big plays on defense otherwise Hallsville plays fairly decent defense. Hallsville gives up late TD after Jax gets major yardage on a fake punt. Hallsville gets the ball back and runs a beautiful screen pass only to fumble at midfield. Hallsville forces a punt and gets the ball back under a minute without timeouts. Hallsville sets up to attempt a 50 plus yard FG but has a delay of game. Bring in Gideon who throws a hail mary which is caught and facemask penalty occurs. Hallsville kicks FG with no time left.
