So my vote was for Marshall to get blown out. When you look at both teams and where they’re at, that’s what should happen. I think if Slone can connect on 60% of his passes and not make too many mistakes and Marshall‘s defensive line has a good game, then Marshall has a chance.

I spent the last day and a half watching everything I could find of this year and watched some last years team as well. Initial thoughts: 1. Longview is clearly the more talented team 2. Reedy is very disciplined and patient. 3. Reedy coaches make good adjustments. 4. Very balanced offensively. 5. Offensive line play is solid. Use pulling guards from the gun and the pistol about as good as we will see this year. 6. Should be the second best group of LBs we have played this year. This is a game Longview should win by multiple scores but very easily could lose by multiple scores. We can’t play from behind or have a bad game with penalties. If we have a Forney type game it won’t come down to the last play…game will be over well before then. and for the record, I think Forney is a better team than Reedy

Two things I don't trust in this world...a fart after having the stomach virus and Lovejoy in the playoffs...PT has a shot.

Watching these guys, they have definitely improved over the season. Seems like a pretty scrappy bunch. We need to put them away early and force them to pass.

I don’t see it either…just can’t let them hang around. I am absolutely certain they have not seen a defense like ours.

I am not sure we have played this type of running game in a while. Should be interesting in the beginning until we adjust. Contain the QB and this game gets ugly.

Wish Tyler would win but result should be a 10-14 pt Forney win.

I expect this to be a good game. Lobos secondary is going to get tested. It’s going to be interesting to see how Woods defends against the Lobos. It most likely will be a slow churning game much like McNorth and not Lufkin. Lobos will score and get separation and grind out the second half. Honestly glad to see so many teams in our district playing better as a whole than last year…makes everyone in the district stronger come playoff time.

This game is really interesting to me. If Lufkin runs a diverse offense like they did most of the McNorth game, it will be a game. If they are one dimensional, I think Tyler wins by 10+.

What's even worse is how they viewed the game against LV. I watched the replay of the Lancaster/Forney broadcast and it was laughable. Fleener basically said in his interview that Forney lost the game, not that we won. Both he (in the interview) and the broadcast team raved about the Forney defense. One broadcaster called them the best in the state...Forney is a good team no doubt but man...that is a way to spin...

I don't think you will see that much use of Tatum like we have in the past 3 weeks. I think he gets carries but pretty sure we are gonna see more Mumphrey and Boosie. Keep him rested and healthy.

The outcome of this game is not in doubt. However, NM has always come out swinging on the Lobos. I hope we put this one away early.

Interesting that Tepper has us with a close win and DCTF overall pick was LGVW by 6.

Mavs need to start out strong and methodical...get up a couple early scores and let that defensive line get to work. Should be Marshall by 17+ as long as they hold onto the ball.
