This is the type of #### that people previously said about Gilmer when Jeff Traylor was there. We would always say that there is no recruiting, but kids do see quality programs and families move to cities with quality programs. It's Texas, football matters. That isn't illegal or recruiting, it is what happens to good programs. South Lake Carrol back in the day, happened all the time there. People moving to Dallas area would move there just because of Football. Let haters hate, but great job Carthage. And when you have the best High School football coach in the state, you can also win with kids that others would lose with. Not taking anything from the players, but there are many teams in East Texas with amazing athletes, but don't win. Coaching goes a long way as does a tradition of wining.

Great season Carthage, and great win. Great season Buckeyes. Proud that a first year head coach takes his team to the state championship game. Crazy good accomplishment for coaching staff and the players. It is always awesome to have a state championship game between two East Texas teams. Hope it happens again next year.

It isn't looking good for the Bucks, it is hard to overcome mistakes like that. I can just hope the Bucks do some of that turnover magic they have had all year and return the favor to the Dogs.

I'm at work so probably not a good idea. Radio on internet works pretty well. I'm old enough that I don't have to have visual assistance to understand what's going on like some of the youngens! lol

It's been years since I've been on Smoaky. But I had to come back on since I'm at work, live out of state and can't watch the game. I'm listening on internet and reading smoaky. Hoping the Bucks keep up the effort like they've done so far. Sounds like a really good game. Wish I was there! Two heavy weights just trading blows.
