Home side has one window at the concession open. Line is several hundred feet long and didn’t move the 15 minutes I stood in line. Don’t really understand why you host, if you can’t handle a game of this magnitude.

Exactly that’s why I was saying this was a poor choice choosing to play there. Yes, it’s a nice stadium and the teams will love their dressing room and the field but the fans were definitely not taken into consideration.

Tyler would not been a bad option but lobo ticketing situation sucks and also so does visiter side as for as bathrooms and concessions

I agree the visitors ticketing, and concessions and restrooms are terrible at Longview. Even the home side back behind the bleachers is very congested not my favorite place to go watch a game but it does seat over 9000. Hallsville seats over 8000.

Stadium location - Is this  game more important for the fans, coaches, or players ?  My opinion the players come first, then coaches/fans can be considered next together.
For the players - HUGE dressing rooms that they enjoy, the playing surface is top notch, and the atmosphere will be great - they will be happy playing at P  T                Coaches - dressing facilities big and they are treated fine.

Fans - 2:00 game means probably 20-30% of them can’t get off work, so P T stands might hold everyone……Carthage and P G fans that are able to go to the game already have purchased their tickets and they are way more important than neutral fans. And once fans have a seat tomorrow, the setup at P T is great.

Longview and Tyler have nice dressing rooms and playing field. They also have alot more seating. If they could have possibly played at one of those places, it would have been a win situation for everyone.

Pine Tree is getting two really big games Fri.  They were willing to do what LISD and Lobo would not.  The stadium is big enough and if they put some extra effort in the way of opening all entrances, extra security, extra ticket help, and extra concession help, they might get another big game next week.

It depends on what you call big enough. If this crowd turns out to be in comparison of the crowd they had when Gilmer and Atlanta played there years ago It’s nowhere near enough seating. Of course, you can open up the end zone where they can sit on the hill stand around the fences. Yeah it’s big enough to hold most any crowd, but the majority of the people like to go and have a seat. Also the traffic getting in and out of there can be a nightmare and with another game after this one people better hope this game doesn’t run overtime.

not sure what is going on over in Longview, because this is very unusual for them like I said in an earlier post, they always host games even when the Lobos are playing and there’s been several years where they even host a game on Thanksgiving evening.

yeah, it’s nice to have it here in Longview but unless a lot of the neutral fans, choose to stay home it’s not gonna be the most comfortable experience for a lot of the fans better get there early early. Even Hallsville would’ve been a better option

When we played le there first playoff game they had all entrances open I came thru Lear. Longviews ticket system blows why they will not do pre-sale I have no clue I went to beckville game and ticket line was all the way out to parking lot on home side we showed up 20 min early and didn't get in till halfway thru second qtr and there was not that many there maybe half the home side full if that

Yeah I would think the gate to Lear Park would be open. That does help. Also I won’t be surprised if people have to park at Lear Park

🌹 Stadium is not out of the way for both teams. Hwy 64 for y'all and Hwy 155 for Pleasant Grove.

The site for this game should be a place with a very large seating capacity. Worrying about which team drives farther shouldn’t matter. I suspect the PT stadium will be overloaded but alot of neutral fans like myself will stay home and not deal with the crowd and traffic

The home side is plenty big. The away side is ok. But the traffic is awful. They don’t open that back gate to Lear Park anymore. One way in, one way out. There will be a parade of cars coming in through the second quarter.

I don’t think either side will be large enough if this game draws the crowd that it very well could. This is possibly the state championship game. You are right traffic is horrible. I would assume some from the 2nd game will be showing up when this one is over. Probably should’ve started this one at noon

they hosted Gilmer-Atlanta some years back and 30 mins before game time people were already parking at Lear Park. When the 1st qtr ended cars were still lined up to get in. Gilmer said they would never play there again and I don’t blame them

I understand but it seats 6,429 to 9,250 at Lobo. Longview usually always has workers wether the Lobos are playing or not. They have also hosted games on Thanksgiving night. Unusual for them to not be available.

One bad thing at PT is that everyone has to enter and exit off the highway. You can’t come from multiple directions like Lobo stadium. Traffic getting out will be rough. Texas High and Lovejoy play afterwards so it could be a mess if they show up early.

If it ain't in the RULE BOOK, it ain't cheating.....period.......IF you can quote me FROM THE RULE BOOK OF MLB that it is prohibited, I'll concede the point.......

Yeah but there’s that word integrity. Astros were my 2nd favorite team. I’m disappointed they did this. The organization is being punished but the players are very fortunate so far they haven’t been disciplined. I think many of them have lost respect around the league. That’s a shame not sure they had to cheat to win you can’t take the championship away from them but it will always be tainted. I hate it all for the city of Houston they waited a long time. Like I said I’m not positive they had to cheat. Hopefully time will heal this but I’m afraid it could get uglier
