*2008 AMERICAN LEAGUE ALL-STAR TEAM*
TruTEXAN34 replied to cheaptrick77's topic in Major League Baseball
So true, the voting process is a joke but nonetheless these four rangers earned their spots and are very deserving to be at yankee stadium this ASB. -
This is sad but true, unless you get in an A.D. position or are a close friend with the A.D. at your school you are going to get the shaft when it comes to getting treated the right way. The #### that most coaches take from parents these days is a shame and arents won't change because they won't dare take the responsibilities of a coach ( speaking in general about parents). The stipends that coaches make are not anything to celebrate about but they know what it is when they take the position so for the most part they are not doing the job for the money, it is for the kids. For this reason i have the utmost respect for these coaches. And for the record i am not speaking in part for football coaches, my points are for the other sports that don't get as much pay.

ESPN CF analysts are garbage and im hoping they are way wrong with the UT predictions, I am thinking 10 wins plus one more in a bowl game

A&M basketball court ranked 'ugliest' in America by SI

Yeah i don't think the court as a whole is that ugly but the texas at midcourt just sticks out for whatever reason -
Texas A&M vs. Cal in Holiday bowl
TruTEXAN34 replied to football4life's topic in College Football/Sports
I am rooting for A&M in this one, i would love to see them knock off a sucker from the pac-10 -
Mavs are playing very good ball right now and i would put them at the top of the power rankings as of right now, i still don't see them winning a championship this year though (spurs) ... although i will be rooting for the rox

I can see the shot block and what not maybe being funny and all just because of the size differential , but saying he's talked about with bradley, bol, and muresan is just ludacris the guy has steadily increased his numbers ever since he came into the league and right now most GM's in the NBA would take him over any other center. IMO we got a few people that don't want to see an asian player be talked about with the likes of the elite NBA centers and no, from an overall viewpoint of his career he does not deserve to be compared to shaq but in the 2006-2007 season yao is better than shaq

Glad to see ole wally getting up there in the W column, he's a great ball coach. I for one can say that he didn't get any of them against me though and that is an accomplishment by itself.

8 lb bass off of a topwater popper, caught in private lake in lindale ... what a great day that was

I'd love to see whitehouse win, but i'd rather see him rest the skill players for the playoffs since this game really doesn't affect them winning district. I know it would be cool and all to go undefeated in district but if it means hurting your chances in the playoffs is it worth it?

great career for bags, i hope he goes ahead and retires as an astro instead of holding off his retirement

Albeit it was a pre-season game, but who saw the rockets play the heat on ESPN? it was great. Now im not saying they will win it all and im not gonna act like i know who will, but with all the acquisitions they made over the off-season i think they will definitely still be playing come may and june. I do not know who will win this conference but the obvious favorites are the mavs, spurs, and suns and it is hard to argue with those teams but i see the top 6 in the west being the Rockets, Mavs, Spurs, Suns, Clippers, and Nuggets and those are not really in any order(although i would like to see them end up that way in the WC standings), after those teams i really do not see anyone doing much.

Well i want to say the rockets but i am not going to so i gonna predict the spurs to win it all. I just don't think Stoudamire is gonna be the same player he was before his injury so i don't think the suns will have that extra push to get them into the championship picture. And Dallas is a very good team but i cannot wait to watch them get beat by the rockets on nov. 4 on opening night in houston. Also watch out for the clippers like somebody said up there they will be competing in the western conference or a top 4 seed i believe.

STEVE LYONS FIRED BY FOX SPORTS !!
TruTEXAN34 replied to cheaptrick77's topic in Major League Baseball
I heard him in an interview and he said that he didn't even know that Lou had Hispanic heritage, and i really don't know that i believe that, but i am still finding it hard to find really offensive stuff behind it maybe just cause i heard him defend himself and say that he meant nothing by it but i just don't see it
