We didnt have it tonight. We could have won but it wasnt our night. We struggled badly on the goalline turning the ball over a couple times. Mineola has some good ball players. They were the better team tonight.

Seems like they are most comfortable with him and the qb running the ball. Dont like to throw it to much.

If anyone watched the cbs interview with coach sharp this week thats exactly what he said. More or less said for people to start believing in you you need to beat someone you shouldnt. We will never forget that win.

In a way that's true but it was also a signature win for our program that we can build off of. With that being said i have no confidence about tonights game because i dont know a lot about mineola. Yall have any problems throwing the ball on them?

If Sabine wins tonight and we make the playoffs i think this time will feel the best. The last 3 times we had some teams in our district that was terrible. This district is a lot tougher.

I just went back and looked at our game thread. It was 7-3 after 1 quarter. Dont trust what maxpreps says.

No they arent doing that. I've had fun this week and West Rusk fans have taken it like champs. Well most have. I know they have a very good team. But so does Tatum. Tonight may turn out different than what most expect.

They are the better team. Weapons and speed all over the field. I dont think Tatum was expecting us to be as good/scrappy as we are.

We throw short pass plays too. We dont have the break away speed to get open on a deep ball. Our receivers are doing a good job of not giving up and getting open. Its definitely been a process this year learning to catch the ball. Our qb has only completed half his passes but im betting atleast half those drops were catchable balls.

Broken play? He ran that play exactly like it was designed to be. And shortly after that it was 7-3. Sabine then recovers an onside kick and drives down the field only to throw a pick in the end zone. I still wonder what would have happened is sabine went up 10-7 there. Tatum would have still won but maybe it would have been a better game.

I don't seem to remember that happening either.

Seemed like a lot more than 50 to me.
