UT makes top 10 party school list, University of Georgia #1
Skip replied to Buckeye1980's topic in College Football/Sports
Wow, I guess I'm missing out on the easy courses. Another thing is it is relative to what people consider studying a lot. Most people I know study during the day and go out at night. -

TABC's presence is not really felt at Texas. Everyone on campus knows when TABC is planning their "raids", and those happen one weekend every 2 months. As far as I know, they have nothing to do with fraternity houses, at least I haven't seen or heard of them being around. There's a party going on every night at UT if you know where to look. Plus, you have to study a lot at Texas. That hurts the ranking. -
Haha. I'm taking a study break down here at UT during finals. I honestly can't believe that the supposed arrogance of Carthage's fans and superintendent is in question. Dr. Hambrick (the superintendent) is a good, Christian man. Haha this is the first that I've ever heard of someone being called arrogant for cutting in line at Whataburger. To the supposed arrogance of the fans, wouldn't you be close to being rather confident when your hometown high school is the defending state champs in football and baseball, plus has the second longest win streak in all classifications in football? Let the fans enjoy it because the place that Carthage is at in their athletic program wll not last forever unfortunately. Seriously though, there is no need to get on a message board to call people out because you disliked one action you observed. That is childish. By the way, I heard that Lorena had greatly improved from last year. Congratulations on a great year.

Texas Fan's reaction at Cotton Bowl to Bradford's injury
Skip replied to BudaSooner's topic in College Football/Sports
I was at the game and when Williams dropped Bradford for like a 15 yard loss, everyone went crazy, but when everyone saw Bradford still on the ground, everyone put their horns up out of respect for a down player. -
This is a completely different Carthage than a few years ago when the quarterback got hurt. The head coach was a different guy. The one now pulls starters in the 2nd quarter if the game is over.
-
Jasper did beat WOS, so they might be able to win enough district games to make the playoffs this year. Of course Carthage-Jasper is a whole different topic. Surratt will have Carthage ready for this game. Should be a good game, but Carthage will probably pull out the win.

His name is Anthony Morgan. I don't think there is going to be a major dropoff in production from Si. He started last year at one of the safety positions so he's pretty athletic, and has a pretty accurate arm I believe.
-
I guess saying he thought it will be the toughest game of the year means it will be a pushover. I'm confused by your post
-
Just wondering has OU won 3 BCS games..?
-
Stuckey was district runner-up to Weant last year, and Sledge got better over the summer. Unless Texas High and Sulphur Springs have some people I don't know about, PT will have a pretty good chance at winning dstrict again if they can find some decent 3 and 4 players. I don't know much about SS or Texas High though or Mount Pleasant.

umm, I think he was talking about Carthage and Prosper, not Carthage and Celina....Carthage never played Prosper...
-
Pine Tree will win district...again. But Hallsville's Nathan Weant or Texas High's Conner Ribble will win district medalist.
-
I hope Celina loads the box. Carthage will run their quick slant that will go for 15 yards just about everytime.
