  1. A snoozer in the rain. 6pm game all jv contests cancelled.
  2. top three decided. some possiblity for seed changes but not likely. just waiting on the other district for some matchups.
  3. Especially now that palestine tied henderson and its 1 point behind nac for the district title and that same tie being a playoff clencher for the indians i believe the game is meaningless and an opportunity to get jv guys some varsity time and keep the injuries to a minimum. Look for a poorly played laxidasical game with the loser not being too upset. Eyes are on the prize now boys. No one cares what happens here.
  4. Was anyone else around 2-4 years ago when the Tomato Bowl was not a fun place to come play soccer. That place used to be HOSTILE. Fans were the deciding factor in several games. From parody halftime shows to chants and signs the magic was there. It had the Indians excited to play for their crowd and made the opponents fear the megaphone toting squad in the stands. The magic is gone for now but hopefully some one will bring it back....
  5. As a response to the post on the JV game, I can tell you that the Nac JV is extremely well coached and the talent is not lacking either. J'ville's JV can be deadly when focused like the Nac JV seems to always be. I say WHEN not IF the Indian JV can learn to use good mental preparation they will be extremely tough to beat at the next level. In closing I think its safe to say that both those JV teams could potentially play for 4th and 5th place in the Varsity district right this moment. Both PROGRAMS are to thank for this situation. Kudos to the Nac staff an players they might just have earned themselves a double district title.
  6. Look what games have been played. Nac, Jacksonville, Pal will advance. Dog fight for first. Center and Henderson have the ability to upset any of those three once, but thats about it for them. Give it time my friends.
  7. snore... play the subs takem down 5-1
  8. Get shivers the ball enough... good things can... eh... could happen. Deny him, and the fat lady is singin'. Mike Vallery will not let Shivers have his way. Kilgore by at least 10.
  9. ok. lets hear it. what happened?
  10. This thing smells like a dog fight boys.:smileybanger: I sure would buy a ticket to the second half. With Jacksonville's D becoming as dominate as it has in the second half of their games. Not to mention the second half performances Palestine has turned in. If anyone needs any clarification I would be happy to go game by game per team if you wish. Watch that second half, its gonna be a DOOZY.
  11. I meant nothing negative toward any programs, kilgore, hallsville, etc. I am only curious where (specifically) the chink in the armor lies for the dogs. I see D-1 recruits on the line and they are always athletic as all-getout. bobcat1976, I have respect for the hallsville program. My comment meant I bet kilgore is sweatin' to see you guys beat the team that beat them. Its not something the dogs are used to.
  12. A loss to a team that allowed Hallsville to beat them. Reading to much into this? What is the cause? Where within lies the rub? neeeeeeed answers...
