  1. Called my boss today knowing that we have a lot of guys out sick and said my neck hurts I will need a couple of weeks to get the crick out
  2. Bregman keeps up his bad hitting and his free agency year will cost him millions.
  3. Houston Astros right-hander Cristian Javier has been scratched from Sunday’s start against the host Washington Nationals due to neck discomfort. My goodness have we got the biggest babies in the world on this staff, I have no ideal how Nolan Ryan pitched all those years
  4. What can I say, Houston makes up ways to lose a ballgame. You know it is bad when they say Bregman is a good fielding third baseman, his bat will not demand a big salary increase at least not in the month of April. Extra innings is a automatic loss. Diaz may have cost them the game with that catcher interference. Pressly don't start pitching until the game is tied up.
  5. And the three closing pitchers Abreu, Pressly & Hader closed as they are suppose to, but not without a little sweating
  6. A lot of kids have issues these days mainly with authority or being told what they need to do. I don't think old school works anymore, I would have done anything the coach told me to do to make the starting team, nowadays kiddos just as soon walk away and go vape with their buddies. I don't know what the answer is but the coach and young'uns have to make that connection, bigger schools with a lot of players a coach can coach old school small school with little to chose from is a lot harder.
  7. Well it is a while until the season starts so plenty of time to make good
  8. Abreu committed a error that let the tying run score. Houston will have to let him go and eat that salary. Batting .080 will not get you many good accolades but plenty of bad ones
  9. My 401K is run by Voya since I retired 90% of the fund is considered safe and 10% of the money is in the S&P 500 which does good when the stock market goes up, the majority is in bonds which also does good when interest rates drop the Stability fund makes money every day but has a set interest rate it makes about 500 dollars a month. The bond market is where I am taking a hit.
  10. Actually Spaghetti wasn't half bad last night all the low paid relievers did alright but the overpaid reliever Hader did not, he was lit up big time. Of course it didn't matter we couldn't score either
  11. Blanco and Javier are the only two starting pitchers that are healthy the rest of the starters are triple A it is like playing in the majors with a JV pitching staff and just think Blanco is a big surprise he came out of nowhere to be a shut down pitcher, at least for three games
  12. Game will be over by the second inning with subs playing by the 6th inning
  13. At least we are not the Chicago White Socks
  14. Lucky we are in a sorry division not a team over .500
