Considering Union Grove had a "weak" schedule last year, NO SURPRISE they are getting whipped so much. All the hoop la and then 1 and done, just like their
boys and girls basketball teams. Beckville by 16.

Five starters out v Mt E and seven turnovers. A very young team and the injury bug has hit hard.

Graduation of the majority of a team that went three rounds last year. A lot of underclassman playing.......

beckville isnt that great of a hitting team and they havent faced the pitching they will see this week
Have seen and played them both. Both are quality teams.....Harleton has good pitching.....but the above statement is not even close to being realistic.

Harleton is a solid group.....competitive pitching, good sticks all the way through the line-up and well coached. They make the play they are supposed to make and don't beat themselves. Kind of remind me of the way they play football......hard nosed and blue collar. Don't know anything about West Sabine.....other than that anybody left at this point in the playoffs will be quality.

Even though the Lions are my neighbors, I have to root for my cousin and go with Maud. Their pitching is outstanding and I really can't see this series going to three games.

District going to be super close this year I think. any team could pull it out, but do agree UG is favorite. But they can not have an off night as anyone in the district can knock them off. Will find out this week if Big Sandy (3-0) is for real or not vs a good Carlisle team who gave UG all they wanted.
Will be interesting for sure.....

District is pretty evenly matched.....anybody can win or lose on any given Friday night......even Bowie who has struggled early played Maud tough and seems to be getting better. Should be a fun district to watch....

Only based on numbers I've seen....didn't see union grove numbers, but if they are close they could be in there
Union Grove turned in 205. They will be in the mix somewhere......and Hawkins was 218. I think they would be the biggest in this group.
