They were close last year and all the skills kids are back I believe. Did lose some lineman and hoping they are ready by district. Just don't think Van will be as good as last year.

This is the year Palestine will finally break through in the district of doom and make the playoffs.

Van graduated some very good players and I am pretty sure that QB was a senior last year.

I have heard the new Athens coach has cut a bunch of kids. Kids are quitting so it could be interesting this year

I heard Palestine Boys had over 90 kids trying to play soccer this year. Not bad for a 4A school.

Have to go with Kilgore on this one. Revenge factor and Kilgore is just better then Palestine. Palestine was lucky last year in the state semifinals and they know it.

Well, Lindale beat Kilgore 3-2 a few weeks ago. Jacksonville and Hallsville were in the regional semifinals just two years ago in Region 2. Have to agree with post about a game in early January doesn't mean much in late march

I do believe the District of Doom is a little overrated this season. Looks like CH, Center and Bullard aren't as strong as they have been in the past.

Why were they taken down?

I guess if you like teams that play dirty then they are your team Nac02. There is a huge difference between playing aggressive and playing dirty. They are a very dirty team. In my opinion if you play the game dirty you are nothing but a common street thug!

Not sure they gave up three PK,'s to be honest with you. I heard from a friend that El Paso team just wore them out. Their thug way of playing soccer finally caught up to them.

Pretty sure no east texas team has ever won a soccer title. I think Georgetown will be a tough win.

It looks like the refs did call a clean game and that's why Kilgore Bulldogs are done for the year. 5-1 is a whipping if you ask me. Got to go with Kennadale

Hoping San Elizanio knows what to expect. Kilgore players are extremely dirty and hopefully the refs there in Georgetown call the game like they are supposed to.

Palestine advances to the regional semi-finals with 4-2 win over Gatesville

SS , Marshall, and Greenville don't have the 4A schools to beat up on anymore. There will be some long playoff streaks at stake this year.
