I'm just stating the fact that nobody has the right to bash good folks and that is what Callaway and his crew are....we miss them tremendously and I hate to hear anyone talking bad about them. New programs take time. Stack and Outlaw are right about the offseason program. They will have those boys in the weight room every free minute they have and Gladewater fans will see bigger, stronger and faster players in the next few years. It takes hard work; the coaches will put in the time if the atheletes will. Big Sandy was known in the past few years for the size and the speed of their players because of the dedication of that coaching staff. JMO;)

If you folks at Gladewater don't like Callaway and his crew, we will GLADLY take them all back!!! He is one of the most decent men you will ever meet. He will not only teach your young men how to play the game of football, but he will teach your young PEOPLE (girls included) how to be ready for the game of life!! I know, he taught my son both before he graduated in 2004 and was working on my daughter before he left for Gladewater. My daughter was upset enough that not only he was leaving but Minter and Cook went too that she was ready to transfer!! Give them a chance, you won't be sorry.

Going with my Cats (Big Sandy)! Stack, it's good to see you on here!! We miss you guys like crazy, just not the same without ya'll!!!! Pak, get a life man, there were more reasons for the loss to Harelton last year than not giving the ball to Brandon. Brandon's good, but there are several other players on the team that deserve credit that you don't give them. Last time I counted it took 11 players at any given time to be on the field so it would be kind of hard for it to be the "Brandon Show" as you seem to think. And this is JMO!!!:ugh:

Todd is a good player but you have several return players and several that were all state from last year, not just Todd.... Going with my wildcats.....work hard guys and don't make us bite our nails as bad as last week!!

I also like his politics, especially his belief in the right to bear arms!!! The pixie sticks are wishy washy.....if they weren't they wouldn't have backed down from their beliefs and apologized when Bush's approval rating was high and now that they think it's cool to be disrespecting they're gonna take back their apology and they never meant it in the first place???!!!! Come On!!!! I will not listen to them or to any station that plays them either....I'm not fond of country but I think Toby Keith is great!!

Just got him home from the DFW airport...he says you're welcome and thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers!! I will have all my kids home for Mother's Day for the first time in four years!!!!

To all of you fellow SDCers that sent your well wishes and prayers to our family while our son served this country in Al Udeid, he is on American soil now!! He spent the night in Baltimore and boarded a plane this morning for Hawaii where he is stationed. Hopefully he will be home in East Texas on the 26th of April. We breathe a huge sigh of relief!!!:thumbsup:

The people that the wiretaps were used on are far from average Americans. They are suspected or known radical Islamic fundamentalists that our government has reason to suspect want to do harm to Americans by committing acts of terror. These people are the very ones who hate our country and yet are going to use our own constitution to get free. They hate everything America stands for, but are going to use a double standard to get free. I think it's a shame that they may very well get off because of a loophole and SHAME on the lawyers who get them off. :thumbdown:

Not wanting to argue or anything, but my son thinks it is, or as he puts it, anti-republican....he reads the riot act to his grandparents who grew up democrat. He told them if the democrats get into office, the military will be cut in half and he would be out of a job. My parents grew up democrat but I've told them the party is not the same as when they were younger.

I sent my kids to Big Sandy because it's smaller....I work in Tyler and it would be better if I lived closer because of gas prices but I refuse to because of the big schools. My daughter can play all sports at a small school whereas she will have to choose at a bigger school. My friend came to one of our football games and absolutely flipped out when 4 or 5 of our football boys shucked the shoulder pads and grabbed their horns to march in the band at half time. Her kids go to Lee and one is in drill team and that's ALL she has time for....:whistle:

SuzieQ, I talked to him about 100 times on Friday, he told his sister he was off to save the world and she called him Superman. He is stationed on Al Udeid by the way. I had to keep handing the phone to his dad to keep from choking up...hard to watch your kid go off to war.

If we leave now, that fragile government will be overthrown and the same thugs that ruled before will rule again. I would love for the troops to come home (see my mood) but the job is not finished. We CANNOT leave the job unfinished.
