I remember my first year of coaching jr high we where away and the ref threw a flag on our running back for illegal use of the head. We tried to explain that a running back can lower his head and truck somebody and that its not in the rule book. The ref (uncle to the boy who got trucked) would not hear of changing his call.

I Also agree. Take a moment and thank the Lord that you have the ability to do such a thing. There are plenty of people who are unable to. That kind of attention I dont mind and needs to be done more often.

Brandon was a great guy and will be missed. My prayers go out to Phyllis and the boys. Sorry I could not make it but at least my sons did.

Just wanted to say thank you to Coach Evans and his staff. They put on a excellent track clinic this past weekened. My wife and I enjoyed it and all y'alls company for the day. Good luck the rest of the year and hope to see y'all at the state meet.

This is my opinion. Coming from some one who coached Traylon and coached against him. With his determination and the coaching he will get at UT I believe he will be able to play. Maybe as a freshman most likely not. Coach him up some more and get 5 years out of him. Lets remember a few more small school running backs people thought couldnt make it. Eric Dickerson - Sealy, Billy Simms - Hooks and the list could go on. Good luck to Traylon and the rest of the Wildcats and all graduating seniors especially if they are moving on to the next level.
