BudaSooner
For my Longhorn friends... Colt McCoy pops the question beneath the Godzillatron Matt Hinton Over the course of his college career, we came to know Colt McCoy by many hats: Quarterback, Texas folk hero, Heisman finalist, visionary miner, regrettable mustache aficionado and finally as the target of America's sympathy after he was knocked out of his final game last Thursday just seconds into Texas' BCS championship loss to Alabama. But who knew he could also be Colt McCoy, romantic: AUSTIN, Texas (AP)—Colt McCoy popped the question in true Texas football style. The former Longhorns quarterback brought girlfriend Rachel Glandorf to Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Monday night. When they got to the field, "Will You Marry Me?" was on the stadium's giant high definition scoreboard screen. When she turned around, McCoy was on his knee to propose. Unfortunately, she said no. OK, of course she said yes: An empty football stadium may not be the most subtle or romantic spot to take the plunge under most circumstances, but Colt is a decent, clean-cut, Christian boy, and All-American quarterbacks with million-dollar paydays in their immediate future don't come along proposing every day. Rachel Glandorf may have her own future as an aspiring broadcaster, although she's probably best remembered for a) Her supporting role in last year's Fiesta Bowl, when Fox's cameras repeatedly cut to her watching the game next to McCoy's parents in the stands, and b) For being described as "hotter than shrimp vindaloo" by ESPN's Rick Reilly, which briefly made "rachel glandorf" the hottest trending term on Google last October. Obviously, this is a true power couple. LINK

BayouBengal
That was a different way to do it. Wish I would have had access to a proposal like that. Congrats.
