Mavchamp
UGH. I was hoping we could get the Lobos after we had a few games under our belt. We traditionally have not been a good zero week team...... since dropping in 4A 2002 we have won ONCE in Zero week. ONCE!!! That's 1-8 in zero week. Most of that is thanks to Longview, but we've also lost to Cypress Woods and Jackonville in week 0 too. I think this will be the 100th meeting too! RandyJohnson
They're playing Lufkin twice? Wow... Oh no.... the top non-district schedule is Tyler Lee's. While the bottom is Longview's . Smoak is simply showing the comparison between the two school's non-district matchups. Got it now ?? RJ
Lobos2004
Both teams have INSANE nondistrict schedules... Longview could legitimately start 0-5, although I've said that all of the past few years as well...

Lufkin and Abilene will be the 2 kickers.

Well, I know it's not LIKELY.... But it is possible. I'd hope we can beat Marshall. JT and Allen will be tougher than you think, I believe. Lobo97
Well, I know it's not LIKELY.... But it is possible. I'd hope we can beat Marshall. JT and Allen will be tougher than you think, I believe. Here is why I say that, JT only has 2 offensive and 6 defensive starters returning. Allen is losing there QB who was the heart and soul of that team. I dont know who each has stepping up, but just because of who they are losing, I'm going with LV. loobboo
Abilene @ Longview. It'll be Longview's 9th annual Green Out contest. Considering we don't even know yet who we are playing at home other than Abilene, with our schedule the home game win streak will definitely be put to the test this season! With all the new athletic facility additions and moving back up to 5a it makes this upcoming year very exciting. Would be great if we could get the game against Abilene televised. BeatNavy
I heard from 'Wolf and Lobo 2004 that the LV schedule for next season is the toughest in the nation. "AP poll" has it as the #1 toughest in the land although Bugtussel in West Virginia is a near 2d place.
