Eagle8
If any of you remember little 5'5 or 5'6 RB Alton Stoker from Tatum around 2000-2001....you would agree that even though his name didnt ever get big, he was probably one of the most dominant players I've ever seen come through Tatum. He was so dang fast and could turn on a dime and never miss a step or slow down. My all time favorite player to ever watch. Â Along with.... Â Larry Centers Larry Horton Anthony Hodge Travian Smith Stephen Hodge
ctown81
Chavis McCollister of Tenaha. You can watch the tapes of his games but still not believe what you're seeing. Â Dwight Smith: Physically, could play in the in nfl right now. Physically is the keyword there but best running back i've seen in the state. Hookemhorns88
Randy Fleet, New Diana, during the late 70's. He was a terror on the football field and excelled at baseball as well. I believe that he went on to play football at La Tech. I think that Diana was class B at the time.

JR88
I remember a player that played for Kilgore back in the 1990's. I think his last name was Nix, and he signed with Notre Dame after high school. He was one of the best defensive backs I can recall that played at the high school level. He was a beast. If you are from Kilgore and remember him, I may not have his name right, but I remember him as the player. Â Ronnie Nicks - 1996
