parentofredheads
This is going to blow your mind. You know how we're constantly busy trying to stop or slow down what this administration is doing? And we wonder why "it's always something!".. a new nightmare every day? Here's why we're all in overdrive and overload trying to stop what's going on: Year Session # of Bills 1993 - 1994: 103rd Congress = 1977 Bills 1995 - 1996: 104th Congress = 1817 Bills 1997 - 1998: 105th Congress = 1966 Bills 1999 - 2000: 106th Congress = 2229 Bills 2001 - 2002: 107th Congress = 1513 Bills 2003 - 2004: 108th Congress = 1659 Bills 2005 - 2006: 109th Congress = 1746 Bills 2007 - 2008: 110th Congress = 1922 Bills 2009 - 2010: 111th Congress = 8970 Bills Eight previous sessions of Congress, going all the way back to 1993, averaged about 1853 bills per session. The 111th Congress' session isn't even finished yet and they've got 8970 bills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If this isn't an eye-opener that they're "transforming" our nation for the worst, I don't know what is!!!!!
RETIREDFAN1
The proof is in the pudding, so to speak....the marxists are DRASTICALLY altering this nation....When they are kicked out in November, we need to ride the new congress to repeal just about every one of them.....we'll more than likely have to wait until January 2013, though, because barry will veto the repeal bills...... Payzone
I wonder how much each bill costs the taxpayers. Did the House and Senate read them?
blackflag79
I wonder how much each bill costs the taxpayers. Did the House and Senate read them? Trillions and trillions of wasted taxpayer money......and NO, most of Congress has absolutely NO clue what these bills have in the FINE PRINT! DaveTV1
Can you provide a link to verify ? I almost believe it, but to throw a number out there will be debated by some. I'd love to see the link as well, so I could use it in another forum.

I'd love to see the link as well, so I could use it in another forum. Sorry, Dave, now I can't find it... I usually post the links, must have missed that one. Should be easy enough to see though just going to Congress' records through the years.
parentofredheads
Dave, she's updated for the link: "How I found this data: If you go to this link: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billsearch...?q=111+congress and select the congressional term (in the pulldown) and also type that into "Search For:", then look below the line and it tells the total number of bills for that congressional term. It covers every congressional term from now back to 1993 (the 103rd Congress)."

scacci
This is information is completely inaccurate. The 110 Congress introduced well over 8000 bills, not all of them passed of course and I think this is the distinction you are missing. It is the same case with the 111th Congress, which to this point has introduced just over 6300 bills. This is just the House in both cases I am not including Senate bills and joint bills, etc... As far as enacting bills into law, the 111th Congress and the President have so far to date passed 202 bills into law, by contrast the previous Congress (110th) enacted 460 and the 109th enacted 483. So who really was passing their agenda onto the American people? dfgdfgcontrast the previous Congress (110th) passed 4604This is going to blow your mind.
