Tyler, Texas is in the middle of a restaurant renaissance, no?

Recommended Posts

Driving around town today, I could not remember another time when there were so many different types of restaurants in Tyler & so may I have yet to visit.

There are still several great restaurants we could use in Tyer:

(1) Dave & Busters (come onnow, we adults need our own version of Chuck-E-Cheez!)

(2) Joe's Crab Shack

(3) Texas Land & Cattle Company

(4) Spaghetti Warehouse

Any others you folks can think of?......

Anyone try Ghengis Grill yet? I am so glad to see one closer than Dallas. Love that place. Hope to see a Ghengis Grill in Longview soon.

I love to eat there when I am in Dallas\Ft Worth. I also like Freebirds and Chipotle.

Joe's Crab Shack is the most over rated \ over priced chain restaurant going!

Chipotle is schedule to go up on the north side of the Broadway Square Mall parking lot, next to a BJ's Brewhouse.

Chipotle = awful.

BJ's = awesome.

There are also deals working for Chuy's and Panera Bread at the corner of Chimney Rock and Old Bullard Road in Tyler. Two of my favorite places on the planet.

I've heard about In N Out burgers, but never had one. Aren't they mainly on the West Coast and possibly down thru Arizona?

I think so. Wonder how long it will take them to get to Tyler?

Julian's in Tyler is essentially PF Changs' menu.

Tyler needs a Pei Wei something awful. It's Changs' little brother, but I prefer the food -- and certainly the prices.

Where's the Chuy's going in?

Tried the Bamboo Garden by JT the other day. Got shrimp with mixed veggies and some wierd noodles that were good. Egg rolls are okay.
