Thats not too bad a career. Thats some good teams to play on too.

 

Cheapy, there was a guy who played in the 70's early 80's maybe for the A's. One of his cards listed his position as pinch runner. Any idea?

His 1975 Topps Baseball Card is one of my favorite cards of all-time for that very reason!

The Athletics experimented with an outfielder named Allan Lewis as a "designated pinch runner" two years prior to Herb Washington's Major League debut ... Washington's entire Major League career was as a pinch runner.

Finished up a complete set of '75 Topps a few years back. It took me over 20 years to complete it because I wanted all cards in NrMt or better condition. Not an easy task for '75 Topps. In fact, I got the last three cards I needed, all commons, from 5 packs I bought off eBay. I've never been so fired up over commons in my entire life.
