anybody know anyone thats an outboard mechanic with reasonable prices? i live in the longview area.

my mercury is giving up on me!

If you want to make the drive I've found the guy that is just north of Whitehouse (south of Tyler) on 110 is reasonable but he stays backed up.

ok any you guys think you know whats up.....

i can go at idle speed but once i start trying to hit the throttle the engine will just rev high/smoke and and the boat will stay at the same speed.

i believe its in the lower unit...its not the spin hub either because already checked that.

the motor is fine just the prop/lower unit is not getting the UMPF!

any help would be awesome,

thanks fellas
