Yankees and Six Flags on the same weekend. What fun if the Rangers can handle the Bombers. Don't forget the Mavs and Lakers at the AAC.

The Rangers won't beat the Yankees, they are playing like trash. They can't hit, and all of a sudden....can't pitch.

Rangers and Yankees were both fighting for Cliff not long ago AND the Mavs have a good shot at being the next "home town team to win a championship".

No Stars or Cowboys or Rangers. Try rooting for the Mavericks until they either win or are knocked off. Let them have their "due". I have been to Stars games with you so now you have to root for the other area team involved in a postseason playoff.

There's a lot of season left, and the Rangers will eventually get last year's MVP back, as well as the rookie of the year. Those are two major players they've been missing during this mediocre streak. the Rangers had one of the best records in the league when Hamilton and Feliz were in the lineup, and I look forward to seeing them hopefully back at full strength.

Derek Jeter now has 2,956 career hits. If he gets hot he could be getting close to the "3,000 Hit Club" when the Rangers go to New York in June. June 14-16th is when the Rangers travel to the Bronx next.

With his 4 hits including 2 homers today that gives him 2,960 hits and counting.

And "by the way", the Mavericks are leading the Lakers 63-39 at the half.

Francisco Cervelli just hit a grannie which just about closes this game out with the Yankee bullpen waiting to put the lid on this one. Teixeira adds a homer and with the score now 12-5 you can say "Happy Mothers Day" and go to the house.

Our beloved Texas Rangers are starting to look all to familiar. Is it to early to say that last season was just a fluke? I know that some players who were there last year are no longer with the team, and they are pretty injury plagued right now, but seriously...this doesn't look good. Theres alot of baseball left, so i'm not exactly pushing the panic button yet, but I want push the playoff bound button yet either. I really hope that once they get some of the guys off the DL that they will get it together and start winning again.
