TxFight
Gilmer over Dangerfield in the Championship Gilmer over Brook Hill; Dangerfield over Chapel Hill in Semis Gilmer over Joaquin; Dangerfield over Hallsville; Brook Hill over Marshall, Chapel Hill over Mabank in the Quarters All games were very competitive. Dangerfield and BH both won by 2 pts in the qtrs while Gilmer won by 3 tds; In semis BH just ran out of steam believe Gilmer wound up winning by 17 or so, believe Dfield won by less than a 1 td margin; Championship Gilmer won by 2 tds or so I believe, but was only ever out of reach about 5 min to go
Eagleborn
It was some good football yesterday... Tatum got their future JV QB some 7on experience. Actually alot of JVers got experience yesterday.. Joaquin did well considering they are a running team... Marshall beat DF 40-18 in pool play only to have DF make it to the finals.. DF QB looked good.. Gilmer has a few 9th graders to be that are going to be good.. CH was super fast on defense.. QB was sharp with his throwing.. EF was a scrappy group.. MP was young but more than held their own.. I didnt make it up to the top fields so I couldnt speak on what went on up there...
