DaveTV1
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ap/tx/7614187.html As far as I'm concerned they can smuggle as many gar alligator or otherwise out of East Texas. I can't believe that there is a law on the books for this.
osup116
What would they use them for ?
DaveTV1
I didn't know that they were worth up to $40,000 in Japan. I bet we could make more money exporting alligator gars than we could oil. I know they've broken my line several times, and every time we went up to Wright-Patnum you'd see at least 4 to 6 at the spillway. Maybe this could save our education system. Medman7
I agree about the morons that want to smuggle them. The law is strick on the smuggling of any wild game or fish across state lines. They have been putting a lot of time and effort into preventing this in Texas over the past few years!
Hayseed
I say let them ship them legally and tax the mess out of em! Tax on $40,000 is a good chunk of change.
