We never had an offer from the SEC. Anyone saying that is full of it. (Hopefully I never said that)

 

What they could have meant is that we maintained ties and were told we would be accepted if interested, but you are 100% correct in saying that we NEVER had an official invite from the SEC. They were sitting back and waiting for the Big 12 to implode last year before making their move.
