shoelessjoelives
That sounds good to me........BUT they still have to play the game on the field. TAG would agree with me I know.
slinky16
No chance today, CJ crapped an egg and was just too big of hole for the hitters. Still like the Rangers in this series but today is a bust.
shoelessjoelives
No kidding !! This is stinking up the joint !! Rangers are the favorite according to all the "experts" but you still don't want to go out and play dead.....good grief !! Got to win 3 outta 4 now... Ratface
Best thing about Game 1 is that it's over. The Good Guys will catch their breaths, regroup, and take care of business behind Holland tomorrow evening at The Ballpark.

clawsnstripes
hey what can you say. the moore kid was dealin today and we had no answer. did a great job of keeping us off balance. cj got hit harder than any game all year and that's the way baseball goes. hopefully tomorrow we will rebound for the split. TxRangers2023
well i was very disappointed. i did not expect that. the good thing about baseball is that you are as good as your next pitcher. this game could be lopsided in the Rangers favor tomorrow. i doubt it will be that bad because Shields is a great pitcher but i think the Rangers find a way to get it done. I heard a job came open up in the Northeast yesterday, but the thing is, hazard pay, covering such things as collapses and meltdowns, doesn't come with it! Good to see you back on here. cheaptrick77
Surprise! Surprise! This team has answered disappointment all season long. They will take a 1-1 split (just what I was expecting) to the worst stadium in Major League History, Monday afternoon @4:07pm

I also think Montreal's old Exposition Stadium was right there with St. Pete's awful Trop.
TxRangers2023
great win for the Rangers. great atmosphere. the crowd was electric. baseball is a great game. when there is a good play made you don't have to worry about a penalty or foul being called. only have to worry about a bad call being made once in a while. goldandwhite
Very well put, friend. I also think Montreal's old Exposition Stadium was right there with St. Pete's awful Trop. Don't forget the Twins' former stadium, the Metrodome, with the upside down stadium seats in right-center field and that giant garbage bag spanning above the right field wall. Billy Martin proclaimed that field a disgrace to baseball.
clawsnstripes
i wish they'd left mr. complete game in a little longer. we could've used some more runs. nice win for the rangers to snap the streak.
