elvis had two hell of a plays up the middle, and kinsler getting that steal in the 9th was the difference. clutch hitting by MY and Josh. both were professional and cool in their handling of the moment. knew that didnt have to try and do too much and they delivered.

get real people he made a decision that doesnt look good now , but if it had worked he would have been a genius

the game was lost by the whole : too many walks gave up the runs , too many no hits in scoring situtions, and a bad call or two at homeplate

remember this guy that everyone is throwing under the bus is the one that got the hear

Don't know who's throwing Wash under the bus. You have a right to question a manager's moves without "throwing him under the bus," as those of us who've faithfully been in this forum know.

Terrific win! Game 2 of the 2011 World Series may well go down as one of the most important wins in Rangers history. Andrus and Kinsler were magical, both in the field and at the plate/basepaths. Kinsler's steal of 2B in the ninth reminded me of the significance of Roberts' steal of 2B in the 2004 ALCS.

An absolute classic World Series ballgame!

I never saw the plate ask for help from 1B or 3B. Did I miss that? Had I been Washington, I would've come unglued simply because the plate wasn't asking for help on that play.

No lie! I think the plate blue asked the corner guys if they saw anything when they briefly met, but I'm not 100% sure on that at all.

Someone needs to tell Albert "the Cry Baby" Pujois that he needs to grow up and talk to the media when you lose a game just like you do when everyone is kissing your butt when you win. For a while, I was thinking about how good it would be to sign him up for next year but after his disappearing and disrespecting act he pulled last night, NO THANK YOU!!!!. Stay with LaRussa. They deserve each other!!!!!!

He refused to talk to the media after the ballgame last night? Man, that is bush. He was also deservingly given an E3 for his inability to cleanly cut Jay's throw to the plate in the ninth.

Great game last night..........huge steal in the 9th by Kinsler and the play at 2nd by Elvis and Ian was magical.

I feel good about the Rangers going back to Arlington, the warm weather will be just what the Dr. ordered..........

Slow your roll there on the comparisons, brother.

Not calling one greater than the other, but their significance couldn't be any more different. The only thing they have in common is they were both late inning, crucial, stolen bases.

I can't let you dig in right there without a nice high and tight heater, to brush you off the plate a bit.

I would expect nothing less, old friend!

I don't know about that ... one was in an ALCS game - YES, the spark plug of an historic comeback ... the other was in a WORLD SERIES game that kept a team from coming home, down, 2 games to none ... pretty similar in their significance, in my ever-so-humble opinion :)

Time to shine for the home team. We have home field "advantage" if there is really such a thing. We need a new flag hanging from the facade out there that says "2011 World Series Champions"......Let's Go Rangers clap, clap, clap, clap, clap !!

Cheapy, if we had that guy on your avatar [Ted Williams, noted becuase ol' Cheapy changes his avatar every 48 hours - someone in 2013 could be reading this & wonder why shoelessjoelives is calling The Wildhearts the "best damn hitter who ever walked"] on the bench now we would not have to about who to send in to pinch hit. He is the best d-a-m-n hitter who ever walked.....or did anything else with a bat.

.........and don't forget that the winner of Game 3 has gone on to win the World Series 10 out of the last 11 years.....

The loudest fan you will hear on TV tonight will be your's truly ... yep- I get to strike an entry off my “things to do before I die” list & breathe the same air as the World Series participants! I don’t have to hear Joe Redbird and Tim McCardinal’s voices either - an added bonus! I am leaving for Arlington now - GO RANGERS

We need to win this one for sure. Bow up Rangers. This is your back-to-back World Series visit and we are going to win this time. Let's Geaux, Rangers !!

Maybe Holland can pull something out of his bag of tricks to surprise the Birds since they never have faced him before.

Do you really get anything out of those interviews? The media ask the same inane questions and the players spit out their stock, non-answers. Sure you don't want AP to sign with Texas? Apparently, he likes Arlington. A LOT!!!
