I remember a few names from last year who are making great strides as HS competitors this year. elkhart12 Posted April 19, 2012 Share Posted April 19, 2012 The 8th grade group from Elkhart is AMAZING on the track. They have a 1600/2400 runner that runs like a 5:20/8:05. The mile relay team runs a 3:55. And a pole vaulter who clears 11'. These are only a few of the standouts. They will have a good chance of being very successful in high school. NB81 Posted April 26, 2012 Share Posted April 26, 2012 Hannah Chambliss, a 7th grader from Union Grove ran a 2:32 in the 800m. and a 65 split in the mile relay.
