Beastmode
One of the other assistants left for health reasons, so there's at least two openings

Anyone heard what is going on in Omaha? nothing is going on...normal ebb and flow of coaching staffs...heard a couple of going straight teaching and some taking other opportunities... PantherPower
They will be in what amounts to a rebuilding year though. Although one of the HUGE advantages of Slot-T is rebuilding is much easier in that type system.
GoBigBlue
Pewitt will be fine if you think this is a rebuilding year. We will miss some key components like the center, LB'ers, and RB's. But that is the glory of this system. Someone always steps up.
oldhornet
The Head Coach at Pewitt is very old school. Does a great job. Bet he isn't a big 7 on 7 fan though.

GoBigBlue
JV boys coming up actually threw a lot more than that. Pewitt will use what weapons it is dealt like always.
runupthamiddle
Ramsey is gone? I figured ramrod would stay and take the ad job one day. He is a Pewitt guy all the way. Who else is leaving.

I think you say that every year and every year it doesn't happen. Kumrow will continue to run because that is why they are successful.
GoBigBlue
Well I do because they do. I know Pewitt works just as hard on the passing game as the run in practice. Why argue the point?
hsfootballfan
Pewitt is pewitt and they will be in the running for district champ just like every year! I know HS won't take them lightly. I'm just glad that we will be battling them for the district championship again. Just like old times! Good luck Bulls.
oldhornet
why should you be worried about flag football when you throw 18 times a season... 7on7 is as important defensive football as offensive. Pewitt may actually play a team that throws a forward pass.

Not retirement age or anything like that at least. But 7 on 7 is mostly for defensive purposes anyway, so I'm sure he'll have em out there like he has for the last few years. GrandpaBull
Not sure whats going on. I have heard that there are at least 4 of the coaches who are either leaving or going to straight teaching, plus a couple of others that are "looking". I hate to say it, but anytime you have that many assistants leaving and the HC is still there, something smells fishy.

I was told this weekend that Ramsey is gone and Sibley and Cartwright are out of coaching. They made a huge impact on me. Those were my coaches. That's a lose for the kids at Pewitt. Those guys were more than coaches. What a shame.
