Awinsawin Posted May 15, 2012 Share Posted May 15, 2012 From the WH Dugout Club: Whitehouse Wildcat Baseball plays Red Oak: Thursday at 7:00 in Red Oak Friday at 7:00 in Whitehouse and If needed in Canton Saturday at 1:00pm Interesting information about this year WH baseball team: Ranked No 6 in the State 4A in the High Baseball Coaches Poll Outright 14-4A District Champs. 1st time since 1998 26-4 overall record 19 game winning streak. I think once against Red Oak 6 to 5 late February. Yeah early in the year but five runs against Red oak? Giving up 6? Don't forget whitehouse has two sophomores who pitch really well. Two young to be scared and nothing to lose as both have two more years to play. You will see them again next year. Don't count this team out they play with a lot of passion and pride. Heath has too many weapons, way too many. Love Cats athletics and they have had a great year but this is going to be their last game tonight. Coach Jenkins did a great job this year and this team showed a lot of heart all year. This group will be a good bunch next season. Go Cats, Go !! Great season for whitehouse just not good. This group was made up of a bunch of sophomores and juniors and three senior players. The played their hearts out against a bunch of seasoned veterans not to mention they knocked out mr. Baseball in the fifth inning. Good luck to you Heath. Go all the way so we can say we lost to the state champions. Look for them again in 2013 as they will make another run at the state championship.
