The A's seem to be a team they struggle with, and would most likely be their divisional draw. I think Oakland has the pitching to knock off the Yankees and Baltimore has been a thorn in New Yorks side all year. Detroit is hot right now, but the Rangers beat them convincingly during the start of the hot streak. Seems to me that the second seed would be the route to go... Agree. I really think it should be at least a 3 game series. Everything in baseball is a series. The wildcard play in isn't the same as being in the post season. It's like a 'chance' to be in the post season. Rangers are playing terrible ball to close out this season. All the people who said, "don't worry about the A's...they can't hit" were sorely mistaken.
