Smoaky Posted October 25, 2012 Share Posted October 25, 2012 Gilmer junior linebacker Josh Walker, 6-2, 220, 4.6, has committed to play college football at Texas A&M, Walker is a member of the Class of 2014. Walker told David Smoak, "I loved the campus and everything about Texas A&M University and Coach (Kevin) Sumlin and I've always enjoyed my time with Coach (B.J.) Anderson. Texas A&M has always been one of my favorite schools and I'm very excited about this day." Walker has 39-Tackles, 8-QB pressures, 2-Caused Fumbles, 2-Fumble Recoveries, and 5-Sacks. Walker also has 35-carries for 241-yards and 5-TD's, plus 11-catches for 136-yards and 2-TD's. Gilmer head football coach Jeff Traylor told Smoak, "Josh Walker is a young man of high character, he's extremely intelligent, and he's the reason you get into coaching, he's just an awesome kid."
