Smoaky Posted December 15, 2012 Share Posted December 15, 2012 That was very close to '94 JT-Plano East, except John Tyler came back from 19 down thanks to recovering two onside kicks to take the lead, but a gutsy drive by Denton Guyer of 70-yards to take the lead and sealed it with a pick and ran out clock. Incredible game, among one of best ever, JT has a habit of being involved in a lot of them. Tough way to end the season, another great run by JT. Boyz_In_Blue Posted December 15, 2012 Share Posted December 15, 2012 Great season Cujo... we'll make the playoffs next year but who knows if we will ever be blessed to have this much talent at once again... this was the perfect team to win state with...give us 2+ years and I'm sure we'll make another deep run. We will be super young next year but should be a decent season... The qb next year will more than likely be the starting qb on the jv or #18 Nick Cain... we have a really good rb on the Jv as well....I dont see Guyer losing the state game...offensive line is too powerful and Heard wasn't a one man show...Breedlove was a beast too...gonna take some really good d-lineman and some hard nose line backers to beat these guys but that's why you play the game Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Even in coming up short, that by no means diminshes the valiant effort put forth by both teams. They all have my respect. Perspective. It's just a game.
