“(Practicing in a hotel ballroom) was like one of our Friday walk-throughs. We didn’t have very much space to maneuver or throw balls downfield, so we had to make it like a mental day. We just tried to take a lot of mental reps.” — WVU receiver Stedman Bailey, Dec. 26th

Watching a bowl game being played in Yankee Stadium in late December is like watching a rodeo in an opra house. Bowls are supposed to be a reward for deserving teams. WHo the heck wants to be playing outdoors or watching a football game being played outdoors in NYC in late Dec.

The Big 12 opted out of the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, instead choosing to partner with the Pinstripe Bowl supposedly to give its teams more national visability.

What a joke!

That's nothing. Wait till NY hosts the Super Bowl. Lol. Talk about a cluster F.

W Virginia tanked the whole season away after starting 5-0.

Tech had the perfect formula: score first, get a big lead and make a couple stops. The Mountaineer defense might have been worse than last year's Tech defense.
