Take it to Brookshire Royal. Proud of the Cats this week. Very hard week. VERY hard day Saturday. Can't believe they even had to play that game Saturday night. Palestine is very lucky to have a coach that cares more about his soccer PLAYERS than soccer. Every school should be able to say the same about their coaches. QueenHornet Posted March 25, 2013 Share Posted March 25, 2013 4 former Palestine soccer players were killed in a car wreck. All 4 funerals were yesterday. Many of them had younger siblings who played soccer for Palestine as well. Palestine and Nac were co-district champs (tied in points). The way they determine a tie is by a tie breaker playoff game. This was brought about since the last few years there were issues with how point differential was calculated. It is apparently too difficult of a mathematical process for some. This was a seeding game for the playoffs. Winner gets #1 seed. It had to be played Saturday because district certification was Sat at midnight.
