Aggie98
The message boards and twitter are blowing up about something going on in the UT athletic department. Something big. Anybody heard anything? And no, I'm not talking about Tennessee.

Grindin
Patrick Suddes and rumors of a sophomore day I think you're on it. Suddes was hired from the same position at Alabama. A Saban guy for many years both in the NFL and college game. May be the first AD for Player Personnel in the Big 12. This will reshape Texas recruiting and impact many more conferences across the country. Suddes will most likely be a GM in the NFL some day. RedCreek49
To catch up with Alabama, Texas has decided to be like Alabama. Welcome to the SEC!!!! Now, Texas needs to take the next step and just man up and ask to join the SEC! Alabama could have paid to kep the guy but they know having the guy and not being in the SEC is not a winning formula. Saban taught him what to look for, he can teach another!

h-town12
Someone jealous? Yeah I'm really jealous that I can't be in a position of power and take advantage of students. Really weird.... The track coach and Cleve Bryant get canned for trying/getting with students, but good ol boy major gets a pay raise. Wonder what the difference was? The track coach and Cleve Bryant get canned for trying/getting with students, but good ol boy major gets a pay raise. Wonder what the difference was? First and foremost, we're talking about College students here and not HS. People here the word 'student' and automatically freak out. What percentage of college 'students' do you know that aren't adults? And because they are adults, how is it taking advantage if it's consensual? Is it against the rules, yes. Is it weird, no. Secondly, I only left the comment that I did because yet again, we have a prime example of an Aggie taking a shot at Texas where if it were reversed, it would be because the Texas fan is 'butthurt'. RedCreek49
Lmao....then lowering admission standards! Well, let's see. The SEC has more members belonging to the prestigious Association of American Universities than the Big 12 and our graduation rate are good as well. Unfortunately, the Federal Government will not allow us to set our admission rates. Ole MS used to have some of the highest in the country until the Federal Government keep forcing us to lower them. Alabama, Georgia, Florida Tennessee, South Carolina and LSU can't set admission standards without approval of the Federal who has forcibly lower those schools admissions standards over the years. Players leave early all the time for the NFL, and unless they come back to graduate later, it counts against the graduation rate. Same thing applies to college basketball.
