Both teams still need a little defensive work but being 43 degrees in the late innings probably had something to do with that. Tough, gritty pitching by Gilmer. They reminded me of a Hector-coached team. The lefty catcher was impressive. I like watching games when both teams know what they are doing and can play. That seems to be a rarity this year. We are in a Kick Butt & Take Names mode now in all sports...our new objective is to take control...looking forward to Bullard in a couple of weeks for District Meet.
