For a history lesson to those not aware of some of the rooot causes, I'll go back to the 1960's. In the 60's we saw several court decisions designed to deter police brutality, Miranda etc. Then the nation experienced a hard moved to the radical right under " I am not a crook" Nixon. The political move unabated until President Clinton begin the swing back toward the middle. During all of this time it became politically popular to protray all of law enforcement as "heros" and to not question their actions...a HUGE mistake brought about by those pandering for votes. So get off blaming ALL law enforcement officers...there are MANY MANY fine men and women in law enforcement who detest these acts of violence and need help eliminating the corrupt from their ranks...not nut case remarks from the likes of Lap Dog.

I say there are more good cops than bad. The majority of good acts they perform gets shadowed by the bad acts of a minority group of officers.

 

Kinda like teachers, I don't believe they all have sex with their students. There are more good teachers than just a few bad ones. Do you?

 

Connections? Gotta do a better job of trying to catch the bad ones during the screening process; just like they did with Zimmerman and rejected him. Many of these incidents I see a Zimmerman.

 

The screening process has got to improve but even at that they are never going to screen all of the bad ones out. The good officers are the ones who are going to have to clean it up.
