How likely is this to happen?

Recommended Posts

Let's say we have a new teacher that wants to be a coach in a couple of sports. The coach has never coached or played a sport at any level other than recreational leagues but has a great understanding of basic skills and rules of the sports they want to coach in. Of course this person would have the teaching certificate needed to coach at the high school level.

How often do high school athletic directors/head coaches consider these type of coaches to train into their system(s)?

At most schools it is a 37.331% probability. At Gary ISD there is a 94% probability the teacher will coach and be promoted to head coach and then AD within 2 years.

They made the business manager AD one time - a guy that didn't even try to catch a foul ball at a Ranger game and it hit his kid in the head.

The guy acted like it was worth it to get all the free stuff and attention from the front office.
