Panther89
@ GolfingNut: I can't see Atlanta being thrown in with Gilmer, Gladewater, Spring Hill, and Tatum. Maybe Pittsburg would be more fitting, what do you think?

cotton84
Paris Chapel Hill Henderson North Lamar Palestine Carthage Liberty-Eylau Pittsburg For a football only scenario, that wouldn't be a bad district. If you had those 8 all year long for all sports, too much traveling.
JBizzle
Wouldn't Div. I & Div II 4A teams mix in the Districts? Not my understanding...the entire district would be made of either div I or div II teams...basically a complete split...

I somewhat agree, but not many choices unless the cutoff numbers are higher and lower than were listed, and I know those listed were just projections......not official. Not too many teams north except Atlanta, Rains and Pleasant Grove. South are Center, Canton, Bullard (depending on their numbers that I haven't seen. Mineola is on the edge of the numbers. Panther89
With Spring Hill showing a number of 481 during this latest snapshot, will they go to Class 4A DII, or will they be Class 3A DI?

Matt
This is the lowest enrollment for Jacksonville since the 1980s, I believe. What a huge range in 4A . . . perhaps 1,000+ students when they release the cutoffs. Ridiculous, UIL!
