flukeshot
Well dang. Didn't need to settle for threes on those last couple possessions.

TxFight
Grapeland struggled to consistently get buckets, especially 3 pointers. Forced the turnovers they needed late but just couldn't convert. Nothing to hang their heads about, a great season!
flukeshot
Grapeland 7 for 35 from three. Â Oh well, I was going to be conflicted on who to root for in a Grapeland vs Mumford state title game, so that's resolved. Go getcha that title you deserve, Mumford. flukeshot
Mumford's two stars, Aubrie King and LaKendric Hyson, went a combined 4-21 from the field in the first half. Â Muenster vs Smyer for the state championship? Please no.
TxFight
Smyer has done a great job controlling the tempo and capitalizing on their possessions. It could get interesting. First half was definitely their pace.
TxFight
And just like that Mumford switches to a much more aggressive press to start the 2nd half and Smyer turns it over.
TxFight
Smyer hasn't even attempted a shot since the 1st possession. 26-26 midway through 3rd

DatGuy
Believe the Ship was won during the Muenster & Grapeland Game. Mumford had trouble stopping 1 Big man imagine them trying to guard 3. Muenster should take it home in 1A
flukeshot
Maybe. I don't think King will be that off again Saturday though.

KHSAlum400
Maybe. I don't think King will be that off again Saturday though. Â It will be hard for him with another 6'5" guard holding him.
itsallheart
Grapeland shot way way way to many ill-advised three pointers. Wow
topher805
Grapeland shot way way way to many ill-advised three pointers. Wow They have lived and died with them all year. That is what put them in a hole against Martins Mill, but it is also what got them the win against Martins Mill. Â Ya gotta dance with the one that brung ya... JimmyNeutral
Dallas Madison is a well oiled machine. Super athletic group of guys. Only through with the first quarter and I'm already impressed. I'm especially impressed with their 6'7" post. He hustles and works hard on the boards.
spacegolfer
Madison is on a completely different level than Sam Houston here in the early going. Â Madison leads 23-14 after 1.

flukeshot
Madison's something else ain't they? Now consider that they turned in a lower enrollment number than both teams in one of tomorrow's 2A semifinal games, Tatum and Bushland. It's good to be a smaller school in a large metro area, I think is the lesson there.
