topher805
Max Stassi has homered in three straight games at AAA OKC, giving him 5 for the season. Singleton has also continued to tear the cover off the ball. Both should get a look in the near future, especially with Castro and Corporan struggling. It was nice to see them break their skid, especially against King Felix. He is one of those guys Astros fans worry about throwing a no-no, or setting the single game strikeout mark whenever he faces Houston...

Springer is struggling against good pitching, needs to stay in the line up though and continue to look at good pitching.Fowler started off hot plays a good CF but is in a slump, but I guess just about all of Houston Hitters are going in and out of slumps...:)

Wild74
Who is this McHugh, he carved up Seattle. 12K's. Another three HR's. Astro's looking good again. Now watch them get shut out.

DaveTV1
It's pretty sad when the 7 members of the team are under the Mendoza line, and the team as a whole is sitting right on it. We had some good pitching today up until the 9th when it all came crashing down with Josh Fields giving up three runs.

THSfanatic
Don't think I've ever been critical of Porter, but I'm not getting his fascination with Fields. He is being overused and it has happened again tonight. Not sure why he keeps trotting him out there with Qualls & Albers in the bullpen
Wild74
McHugh 2-0 with two great starts. Springer can't buy a hit, his average now is close to Carters. Altuve is the hottest Astro right now. 5-1 victory over A's

THSfanatic
Stros finally trade Lucas Harrell. A few years ago he looked like a solid #3. He certainly lost his luster quickly.

Wild74
Pretty bad loss 0-7. No hitting at all. Pretty bad loss 0-7. No hitting at all. Also would bit that Springer goes back down
THSfanatic
Sending Springer back down is a tough call. I can see both sides. Personally I'd like to see him stay up, but if in the coach's opinion he is getting frustrated & discouraged I will have to bow to their opinion. Wild74
As the Astro's continue to lose I saw where Spring went 3-4 and his batting average is now above 200. Maybe he is catching on. Astros lose 9-4 to Detriot
topher805
The optimism and buzz seems to be wearing off. Fans in Houston are more like, "Here we go again..." The potential is there, but they just can't get it all together. With a team this young, they need to get out of this rut and quickly...
