PT led off 6th with a single, then HBP, base on balls loaded them with no outs and then a couple of hits through the drawn in infield and you have a 4-1 game. UncleSam Posted April 16, 2014 Share Posted April 16, 2014 Hallsville got revenge on Sulphur Springs tonight with a 4-0 win.With just two games remaining(Texarkana and Mt.Pleasant),they have a two game lead.All they need is just one win and they clinch the district championship.They play Texarkana at home but go to Mt.Pleasant.Could be interesting,no gimmies. UncleSam Posted April 16, 2014 Share Posted April 16, 2014 With only two games left,Hallsville has a two game lead over Pine Tree,and a three game lead over the next two teams.Even if Hallsville loses both games ,they would be tied with Pine Tree,but they beat Pine Tree both games,therefore they would be the first seed in the play-offs. Kopech allowed 2 infield singles and struck out 14 and tripled and his courtesy runner scored on passed ball for only run. The McCain kid was impressive on the mound for Wylie East.
